Event Description
This in-person training will emphasize best practices for handling a family law dissolution case, including ethics and family law, preparation of pleadings, and discussion of special topics of interest to family law practitioners, such as domestic violence and child support. A judicial officer will provide the court's perspective.
The presenters will be: Judge Miller, Leslie Abrigo, Linda Cianciolo and Bhavani Peesapati-Madero
This activity is approved for 1.0 hour of ethics and 3.25 hours of general MCLE.

$145 for volunteer lawyers - *Volunteers must be members in good standing of the State Bar of California who have accepted at least 1 pro bono case from SDVLP in the last year; or
volunteered at least twice at SDVLP's legal clinics in the last year.
$175 for prospective SDCBA LRIS Modest Means Panelists
$195 for non-volunteer lawyers
$80 for other legal professionals
Free for current law students**
